for use with Schmidt-Rubin M1911 carbine as well as the K31 rifle M1931, while neutral, the Swiss issued the sword bayonet at the time of both wars for engineers, blacksmiths, mounted sergeants, drivers of artillery and howitzers etc., while it likely saw much wider use at the time of the first war, it was definitely reissued in WW2 as well, there were three manufacturers, this one was made by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, due to the profits from selling equipment to Nazis, and the luxury being largely unharmed by war, Switzerland was known for having very high quality wartime engineering that stands the test of time, as is, no scabbard. Open to trades for ammo (DICKSON CITY)
